Diana Luna

Diana Edna Luna passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born to Torquato and Stella Puig Luna and was a member of a prominent South Texas pioneer family.

She was manager at Main Finance Company for thirty years. She was an avid doll collector and enjoyed doing geneology on her Puig and Luna ancestry. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Carmen Puig Luna, Uranie Puig Luna Steele, Blanche Puig De Los Santos, Frances Puig Luna Beck and Octavio Puig Luna. She is survived by nieces, Diana Cooper (Warren), Roxanne Galindo (Arturo), Carol Meehan (Charles), Stella De Los Santos, nephews, Gilbert De Los Santos (Rosie), Louis De Los Santos (Denise), Jaime De Los Santos (Marian), Charles De Los Santos (Kathy), Michael De Los Santos (Susan), and great nieces, Christina Borrego (Omar) and baby Gabriella, Victoria and Kathryn Galindo, Sara and Lauren De Los Santos and Kelsey De Los Santos, great nephews, Devin and Michael Ross Cooper. She is also survived by numerous beloved cousins, Elvira Holden (Rob) and Sylvia Reyna (Arthur). Edna also leaves behind many beloved friends and neighbors with whom she maintained close friendships for over forty years. A special thanks to her long time caregiver Melissa Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Maxwell P. Dunne Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Corpus Christi Cathedral. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
